Location: Lynnbottom Site, Isle of Wight
Rate of Pay: £14.03 per hour (basic)
Overtime Rate: 1.33 for hours worked after 15:30 (PM shift)
Work Schedule:
PM Shift: Monday to Friday, 12:00 – 21:30 (hours may vary depending on round completion)
AM Shift: Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:30 (hours may vary depending on round completion)

- Safely operate Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) to complete scheduled waste collection rounds in line with company standards and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of routes, collections, and any incidents or issues encountered during shifts.
- Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure HGVs are in good working condition, reporting any defects or required maintenance to the relevant team.
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety guidelines, including safe driving practices and site procedures.
- Assist with loading and unloading waste materials as required, ensuring efficient operation during rounds.

- Must have prior experience as an HGV driver; new drivers will not be considered.
- Valid HGV license with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle safety checks and legal driving standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under time constraints to complete rounds.
- Punctual and reliable, with a strong work ethic.
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and site staff.
