Divisional Sales Manager, EMEAA - Leading luxury marine lighting company
£35K basic / £70K+ OTE
The Divisional Sales Manager EMEAA is responsible for all Sales, Business Development, Relationship Management and Communication activities with existing and prospective underwater lighting customers' activities for all areas outside of the Americas ie Europe, Middle East , Africa and Australasia'. Superyacht (>24m) activities are excluded from the role although there will inevitably be overlaps with some customers covering both segments.
The Divisional Sales Manager EMEAA will report to the Commercial Director .
The following list is not exhaustive and responsibilities and specific focus will change from time to time in accordance with business and commercial needs.

Specific Areas of Responsibility and Duties are :
-Play a full role in the Sales Management, and Relationship Management of their Leisure Marine customers on a global basis subject to exclusions of 1) The Americas and 2) Super-Yachts. Responsibilities may also be extended to other products or companies
-Responsible for the Retention and Development of existing customers including OEM, Distribution and Dealer relationships to increase sales to specific targets
-Provide a frequent and regular contact point with all customers existing and potential
-Responsible for Business Development activities and growing the company's customer base
-Responsible (together with the Commercial Director) for developing distribution strategies for all geographical areas and channels
-Responsible for the development and growth of business in every market to agreed plans.
-Managing all customer relationships as First point of Contact to include Sales Ledger and Warranty Management, and other tasks as circumstance and current process demand
-Responsible for Product Feedback into the development teams
-Responsibility to Head of Marketing for marketing initiatives including but not limited to POPs, Brochures, Website Content, Press Releases, Trade Show management
-Attendance at Trade Shows and Exhibitions when deemed appropriate and responsible for Trade Show on-the-day management where the company has a physical presence
-Works with In-house sales to ensure that all customer needs are fulfilled in time..
Work Location and Mobility:-
-The position of DSM is full-time and can be home based in the UK (the company is based in the South West of UK) or Europe as business requirements dictate. There will be regular and frequent need for overseas travel and for travel within the territory to perform the job..
-The company has trade presence at the following shows where DSM is expected to attend:- METS, Cannes, Genoa, Dusseldorf, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Seatec, Southampton . This list will be increased / amended from time to time as business dictates.
The ideal candidate will have a proven background as an Account Manager in a B2B environment dealing with niche / luxury products, ideally in the marine and/or lighting sector and with international experience. You must have experience as an Account Manager in a B2B environment and be eligible to work in the UK.
The role can be home based, so whilst the company are based in the South West, the candidate can be home based (with one or two days a month in the office) when they are not travelling.
