The Company
This is a multidisciplinary consultancy with capabilities across all of construction, infrastructure and transportation. Their has been significant growth across in Transportation in Auckland (Waka Kotahi, Auckland Transport and Kiwirail) and so they are looking for a Senior PM to further grow their capability in this space.

As a company, typical clients exist across a variety of public and private sectors meaning that project size and scope varies from anything between $1-50M+. Current pipeline of projects is varied across new developments and refurbishments for Waka Kotahi/AT, water, rail, property and land development/urban planning. 

The Role 
Reporting into an Associate Team Leader, you will be project lead from concept to completion on a mixture of work in Auckland, with some work in Northland also.

Your involvement will be varied depending on the project, include Engineer to Contract services, programme management, commercial negotiations and contract management, design management and procurement. With so much potential in transportation- there's opportunities to work across a number of technical disciplines and either become an expert in your field, or develop and grow a broad skillset.

This role requires: 
  • Significant experience as a consultancy project manager in Civil/Infrastructure Projects
  • Engineer to Contract, or Engineers Rep Experience would be ideal, but strong knowledge of NZS3910/3916 is essential
  • Waka Kotahi, Auckland Transport or rail experience
  • Technical background – degree qualified preferred
  • The ability to drive and achieve deadlines 
  • Capable of communicating with anyone, from land owners and stakeholders through to on-site contractors
