Maintenance Manager needed for a large, automated manufacturing plant in Tauranga. This is a superb opportunity to work in a big facility, with good budgets and the chance to make an impact with this market leading building materials manufacturer
The Role:
As the Maintenance Manager you will lead a mechanical maintenance team, implement best maintenance processes and work towards optimal output and reliability for plant machinery
This includes:
- Team Management - 6 Fitters, Services Manager and Maintenance Planner
- Implementing Lean principles and maintenance excellence
- CMMS Development (MEX) - along with Maintenance Planner
- Planning and leading maintenance shuts (Typically in January)
- Budget management
- Improving new machinery - there is a lot of new machines, which need to be optimised for both maintenance and production
- Machinery is large and varied - This is a complex production line, so your mechanical skills will be well valued
About you:- We're looking for an experienced leader in maintenance
- Manufacturing experience, either heavy industry or FMCG - anything fast moving
- Mechanical - Trade/Fitter or degree qualified is of interest
- Condition monitoring experience very helpful
- MEX experience ideal, but other CMMS is also useful
