Our client is a leading importer of premium commercial kitchen and catering equipment. They partner with some of the food service industry's most recognised and acclaimed brands from around the world.
They are currently undergoing a period of growth and transformation that aligns with the commitment to the growth and development of their employee
This is a hands on role that will see you working in a busy despatch area working on a variety of tasks from Reach Driving, Receiving, Put Aways, Outbound and Managing Inventory.
The role includes the requirement to receive credit returns, unpack and put away FCL and air freight shipments and complete associated delivery documentation for despatch of goods via our freight system.
Key responsibilities include
• Responsible for the effective flow of goods inwards and outwards of all equipment & spare parts
• Ensure all incoming goods are labelled and put away correctly and in a timely manner.
• Determine the most cost effective and expedient form of delivery to customers
• Ensure that service is provided as per company policy and procedure, investigating any non- conformances so that they are resolved with improved processes put in place to prevent reoccurrence.
• Ensure all documentation (including electronic files) is handled correctly, is accurate and supplied to the next part of the supply chain within agreed time frames.
• Complete all receiving functions accurately, safely and in a timely fashion.
• Ensure all stock is put-away so that it will not be subject to damage in the warehouse.
• Liaise with Carriers to arrange cartage as required.
Proven High Reach and Logistics experience will see you well placed to succeed in this role.
