Job Description:
As a Maintenance Fitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the machinery and equipment. Your responsibilities will include:
• Performing routine and emergency maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues to ensure minimal downtime.
• Conducting inspections and tests to identify potential problems before they occur.
• Collaborating with other team members to implement effective maintenance strategies.
• Ensuring all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
• Maintain an organized and safe work environment.
• Participate in training and development programs to stay current with industry advancements.
Qualifications:
• Relevant trade qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Mechanical Fitting or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a similar maintenance role, preferably in a [specific industry, e.g., manufacturing, industrial, etc.] environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
