The role
As a machine operator you will play a critical role in in the manufacturing process. Your key responsibilities will include:
• General operation and monitoring of production machinery
• Maintaining accurate production records
• Monitor operation of plant and adjust accordingly
• Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
• Collaborating with team members to achieve production targets
• Take responsibility of own safety and safety of others
About you
Nexans are looking for the following skills and experience:
• Proven experience in Manufacturing
• Ability to demonstrate high levels of initiative and be able to work well under pressure
• A strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Safety focused attitude with a high attention to detail and time management skills
• Able to work effectively in a team environment
• Willing to work rotating shifts (Afternoon, days, nights) on a 5-day rotation Monday to Friday
