Our client is a government department with the need for a highly organised and motivated Project Officer / Executive Assistant to provide support to an executive and project team.
This is a temporary role until the end of August 2024 with possible extension and is for an immediate start.
Based on the city fringe in open plan corporate offices, this role is a rewarding and challenging position.
Full-time office hours.
Experience working as an Executive Assistant or Project Officer within a government or similar environment is essential.
The ability to work under pressure and communicate professionally with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders is key.
Preparing ministerial briefings and managing correspondence along with the ability to work with a high degree of confidentiality, attention to detail and professionalism are essential.
Duties
Applicants must have a current Working with Children Clearance and have full working rights.
Must be living in Adelaide as this is for an immediate start.

Duties
- Executive support
- Answering of calls and taking messages in a fast paced environment
- Preparation of agenda’s
- Assisting leadership team in meeting requests/arrangements
- Preparation and dissemination of meeting minutes
- High level IT skills for correspondence
- Writing briefings and managing databases and email inbox
- Monitoring program expenditure and reporting
- Minute taking and administrative support
