A growing bookkeeping firm in Aylesbury is looking for a part-time Practice Bookkeeper to support a varied portfolio of SME clients. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys tidy records, clear deadlines, and working across multiple businesses rather than being tied to just one.
The role You’ll support day-to-day bookkeeping and keep client records accurate and up to date.

The role You’ll support day-to-day bookkeeping and keep client records accurate and up to date.
Key duties include:
- Bookkeeping using cloud accounting software
- Bank reconciliations and maintaining clean ledgers
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Handling client queries and chasing information when needed
- Supporting the team with ad-hoc bookkeeping/admin tasks during busy periods
- Practice-based or multi-client bookkeeping experience
- Comfortable using cloud accounting software and Excel
- VAT return experience
- Strong attention to detail and reliable deadline management
- Professional, clear communication with clients
- 30 hours per week (part-time, permanent)
